The station is an easy 11-minute walk straight out Vela's front door — just head down Washington Boulevard to the Stamford Amtrak/Metro North station, and the train will have you at Manhattan's Grand Central in about an hour.

Trains into the city run every 15 minutes daily, giving you plenty of opportunities to hop on board (see the schedule here). Not feeling up for the walk?
